Dear You

Dear you,

bold,

innovative,

gifted,

the brightest star.

find fault?

Think you can hang with the finest.

Hah!

With those technical hitches and glitches.

Cocky,

provocative clothing,

gangly

You lacked

you were supposed to

you lost

you couldn’t even

But,

you responded

you beat

you remain dominant

the best.

I was wrong

I was short-sighted

Sorry
