Dear You

Dear you.

You, with your beautiful smile,

Your beautiful laugh,

Your beautiful brown hair,

Your beautiful brown eyes,

That I have forgotten.

You brought pain,

Into a temple that should have been left untouched.

But you touched my soul with your dirty fingers,

And still have left an imprint.

I hope you heard my screams of heartbreak,

Like nails on a chalkboard.

Your a guilty man walking free,

And I’m a broken woman walking empty.

So dear you,

The destroyer of love and king of pain.
