Dear You

Dear you,

I will never understand

What I did to make you leave.

You hurt me and scarred me

But you were the one I trusted,

My very best friend.

You left with no explanation

Just harsh words and nothing more.

The pain you gave me still causes aftershocks.

But I forgive you,

Despite not giving me an apology.

Thanks to you I have grown,

But I will never forget the times we shared.Dear you,

I will never understand

What I did to make you leave.

You hurt me and scarred me

But you were the one I trusted,

My very best friend.

Just harsh words and nothing more.

The pain you gave me still causes aftershocks.

Despite not giving me an apology.

Thanks to you I have grown,

But I will never forget the times we shared.
