Dear You
Dear you, you hurt me.
You took my heart, and tore it up;
you took my trust and threw it away;
you took my love and didn't care,
and you didn't give any back.
I cared for you
all you did was pretend
I committed to you
but you just looked at her and
while I pulled you close, you pushed me away
then blamed me and I couldn't-
I wouldn't stay.
When I finally left, you put on a face
made me feel guilty for giving up on us.
After two times of being in your toxic arms,
I swore no more chances with nothing to discuss.
But still you acted like nothing went wrong
as if you weren't unfaithful twice.
But I kept my cool, walked away, stayed calm,
haven't looked back once, hoping one day you'd pay your price.
