Dear You

Only if you knew how I really felt

All the joy and pain that you bring to me

Having to deal with the cards that you dealt

Gambling my heart with reality

I have an addiction named after you

Had to distance myself to be sober

That separation only lasted a few

Just took one small taste to start it all over

And yet you still make me feel so alive

A burning feeling of full completion

The warmth of your body next to my side

So warm and full like the summer season

Once you become attached on ecstacy

Reality turns into fantasy
