Dear You,

You stomach in your throat girl,

You heart wrapped in whiskey

Choking on the trauma

That you forced down your throat

Girl.

Didn't you see it?

Didn't you?

You boots to the ground,

Wishing you could run

Wait

Just one more second girl.

Learn your strength

And your weakness.

Find it pulsing quietly

in your soft, aching chest.

Hold it in your shaking hands and

Know.
