Dear Younger Me,
Dear Younger Me,
Don’t worry.
It will get better.
One day, the love you give
Will be balanced out by the love you receive,
And the world will be set right once more.
Younger me, calm down
Don’t let your anger consume you
And don’t bury it deep down.
It’s okay to talk about your feelings,
Don’t be afraid to open up.
For flowers cannot bloom
Without a little rain
Hey Younger me,
Be nice to yourself.
It’s okay to not be okay.
Get rid of the mean girl inside you.
Love yourself unapologetically,
And never say “I’m sorry” more than you need to.
Lastly, remember the good.
Take in every moment of life.
Feel the rays of sunshine on your skin.
Enjoy the sweet smell in the air after it rains.
Remember the laughs,
Remember the cries that brought you closer to him.
Remember everything good about this world.
And always love with all your heart.
