Dear Younger Me This is Life
Dear Younger Me,
I can't look past my scars,
They've protected me this long...
I see my life reflected in the stars.
The ones who claim
Their love will never die
Are often the ones to blame
Because they never cared to try
Can I ever be found?
I am not so strong,
I can not feel the ground...
The ones who claim
To stand by your side
Always seem to maim,
They always had to LIE
Suspended in abyss
Singing a deaf song
Entwined with Misery in a kiss
The one who claimed
To take me as I am
Left in his wake a fading flame
All I could say was "God damn"
Demise is calling my name!
Forever, I shall belong
Inside the Devil's game...
