dear younger self, 

i have to warn you life isnt all we hoped it would be, we are 22 now and boy have we abandoned the plan. i want you to know that youre going to have some of the best times of your life and every second will be new and amazing and scary. and honestly id tell you to stop it all from happening if i knew youd listen. because what comes after is hard to live with and it changed us. im fighting through it still right now and i miss you sometimes, you never let anything stop you for very long. you always had this it will get better attitude and even when it didnt you found something to be thankful for. a little advice from the future though, dont be so hard on momma, she your number one fan and it hurts to say but she is usually right. and dont put anyone before your family love, because when it ends they will forgive you and love you all the same but its so hard to forgive yourself. we are still nice and caring but we've been hurt a few times so that tender heart of yours stays behind layers of thick flesh no more sleeves for our heart. i wish i could sit and talk with you and tell you all the things we've experienced and tell you not to let that spark of yours be put out by anyone! id tell you to finish school, i know the freedom will be distracting, but trust me one day youll be on a couch writing a letter to yourself looking bac and wishig this letter had came in the mail before you did all the things you've done. but most of all id tell you, you should be proud because you have no idea what you can handle no idea how mature you will be at 22....no idea how inspiring you will be to yourself.
