Sometimes I want to go out, relax,
Breathe some fresh air and doze off

Sometimes I want to take a walk to sit
At a park nearby to reminisce

Sometimes I want to play a game and
Wrestle and laugh as hard as I can

With you

Now I want to run, slam the door,
Lie under the sheets and cry

Honey, I just miss

Sunshine and the breeze and the
Ability to roam a brightly lit home

While stroking a guitar's strings
And singing away the hours

And feeling wet paint between my fingers
To paint a storm of colors on a canvas

With or without meaning, just because
It feels good

And hum a melancholy song about how much I miss you.
