Dearest Learners...


 We run from the harsh words.

We label it cruelty.

…and certainly, sometimes it is.

But the hard word, the barb,

 e  f  f  e  c  t  i  v  e  l  y   s  h  a  r  p 

pushes 

where candied phrases

d  i  s  s  i  p  a  t  e

their grain of salt lost          

in a saccharine sea            

Socrates once said,              

“The unexamined life                                                                                             RISE.

is not worth living.”                                                                                                        WE

Perhaps the examination                                                                                     NEXT

can come from OUTSIDE US.                                                                                                       AND

Jabs galvanize, then we realize. Then we try. And try and try try try trytrytrytrytrytrytry AND.
