Dearest Meaning

Dear Meaning,

I look for you on the horizon

Wishing to reach the edge of you

To stand and watch yesterday's embers ignite

And To Think That Is Our Limit

I look for you in the breeze

It holds so much color

Undiscovered radiance and unexpected connection to such an unpredictable thing

And To Think I Cannot Hold You

I search for you in the milky purple fog

Hoping to see your figure

Wishing to see you with my wonder-filled eyes

And To Think I Can Never See You

I am onlooking

Wishing to melt into the skies

Wishing to fade into your pinks and blues

To burn in your dying flames

And To Think I Could Never Fade Nor Melt

I am a spectator

Nothing is real.

A fuzzy television screen without a connection

The buzzing specks like stars rigidly moving across a blackened sky

A sky I could sweep myself into and fold around me like a bedazzled blanket

And To Think I Cannot Rest Even Knowing You Until The Stars Themselves Engulf Me In The Never Ending Abyss...

Of You.
