Dearest Mother

Oh, dearest Mother, what would I do without thee?

Alone I cry, darkness shrouding over my plea.

"Never leave me, I would perish without your smile"

Adult in age, but why must I feel so juvenile?

My childhood, with little to no support

But at the end you stood, my light of warmth.

With raven eyes and a heart filled with gold

Sunshine when the weather is cold.

Oh, dearest Mother, I would never desert thee

I carry you in my heart, where you will always be with me.
