To The Dearly Departed...
I miss her more than anything on earth.
If I saw her again my heart would rise.
Her love means more to me than my self-worth,
If only she’d bless me with a surprise.
I know I’ll never see her in this life,
but there is no chance that my hopes will fall.
Her loss has caused me great amounts of strife,
oh what I would do for a single call.
I know that sometime I’ll need to let go,
but my heart just simply will not comply.
This experience gave me strength to grow,
but I still desire one last goodbye.
I know she’s in heaven, smiling down on me.
She’s there, I just need to look up and see.
