Death

I sit alone, in a crowded room

Filled with people who fear me.

They pretend we'll never meet,

Pretend they'll never see me.

They sit around questioning when, surely, I will come,

Instead of living out their lives, which I find rather dumb.

I'll come to all of them in time,

One time is all it takes.

For once they meet me, once I'm there,

They never will awake.
