To Death

To death,

Both fragile and rough

Like the concept of time,

You've stolen my will,

My friend,

You've stolen their gift of life.

Why?

Why must you exist?

You make me long for your fate;

To join my beloved,

But no,

You leave me like this.

My heart;

It's inflicted and bruised,

Tormented by memories.

I'm empty,

Alone with all my ghosts.

This is my note,

To death.
