Death

Black roses greet me at the gate. Their scent told me that I was home. At last after a long and tiring journey. I was home. The soulless call to me. My name on their lips. Sleep—sweet sleep. I smile and nod to them. I am at peace. Newbie’s wait for me to welcome them their new home. Home is not as bad as the living make it to be so. Black roses all around. I am the one who greets the dying. Flowers of the dead cover the walls. Songbirds voice their sweet chilling song. I am home. Demons fill me. I am eternal sleep. Dancing in the garden of loving hate. Singing a song in the ancient language. This is my home. My name is—DEATH!!!
