This Is Death
Falling through the open
aired bottomless hole
My shadow is a ghost
My mind traveling back to
The first time I fell
Suffocating in the gravitational
Pull of the inescapable force
Pushing me down
Blind by the moonless night
I stop. As if there appears to be
A shield preventing my fall to nothingness
Floating in the darkness
Wishing I could take back
The love that I lost
Sightless,
I am distracted by a flicker of light
I see hope,
appearing to be a sight of a new life
But in truth,
This is death.
