Death

To the family,

To the enemy,

We fight a war that cannot be won.

To the soldier,

The civilian,

The world is lost, the fighting done.

To the good and the evil,

The honest, the liar,

The conflict is finished, but at a cost.

To the victim, to the martyr,

The apostle, the leader,

To the prophet, the messiah,

To the victor, the pariah,

None shall prevail, all are lost.
