Death of Art
Does it ever cross your mind
that one day no one will know your name?
Does it ever cross your mind
that nothing ever stays the same?
Do you ever wonder why
time seems to come and go?
Do you ever wonder why
the weather turns from sun to snow?
Maybe you’re scared to know the truth
that everything must have an end.
Maybe you’re scared to know your fate
that life will not happen again.
Maybe you’ve known it all along
and wish you could go to the start.
With this seemingly short life
will you ever see God’s work of art.
