Death in a Dream

It was at night

I saw a sight

A true vision

Of another dimension

I was filled with fear

For what was near

My future I saw

A large dark claw

Groping at my eyes

I saw a bird of the skies

Maggots about my toes

And rags for clothes

Death had taken me

And I did not feel free
