Death Dreams

Running out of time,

counting down the days,

the only dream I have,

is to skip the future haze.

For my dreams are not happy,

because by most they are true,

I can see the reapers staff,

lined up two by two.

I hold the ones that are close,

for I am confused what their futures are,

as the dreamers tale tells,

it will take them close to far.

My dreams differ from others,

since my dream is to survive,

I do have a future plan,

if by then I am still alive.
