Death Filled the Night
Death Filled the Night May 10, 2017
The screams filled the air,
Wind disturbing not a single hair,
The stench of death filled the night,
Upon the body lay a single light,
Beside this empty carcass, sits another,
No one seems to give this little one a bother,
The little one screams a name,
Clutching the hand, looking for the one to blame,
Man in blue tear the little one away,
Crying for the one lost, the men are in dismay,
Upon this corpse, all tattered and bloody,
Lie a single rose, bright and chummy,
These men of blue know this scene too well,
The rose a card, to ring a bell,
This body lays here from one man,
Who hides in the shadow, to begin his new plan.
