The death of insobriety

in living a new lifetime of sobriety. every minute is haunted with the psychedelic visions of drugs in days past or fond memories of universes visited on the my cosmic chariots 300 words isn't enough to spill the guts of 300 trips to the aether and a word a minute isnt worth a millisecond of a phenylethamine based vacation white powders and scraps of paper running amok in my psyche creating delusions not of grandeur but of a life worth living in another dimension give me color based music and sounds of soft beaches crashing on alien shores. give me hours of semi conscious staring into the portals and orchestras behind my eyelids. wispers in the dark remind me of my times away from this world and i look back lovingly upon my beautiful psychoactive wives. my heart has more than its share of chambers each separate for another lost love trapped in plastic baggies in the hands of beasts beyond my reach and now cigarettes replace small kisses on the skyline and beers substitue for explosions beyond the veil of perception i long for shulgins daughters, sons brothers and htheir blood flows through me like rivers of sanguine revelation. may my final trip towards the heavens mirror my own breathtaking past let me ease into death with familiar lovers' embrace
