From Death to Light:

Death and life are found in the tongue.
The words that you spoke in the air they have been hung.
Like a rung on a ladder leading up to my demise.
These lies that your telling me.
Why do I listen?
These people can not judge sin.
Stick and stone will break my bones,
But these words they sting.
They clip my wing.
Can't you hear the wrong they sing.
A sad song.
We can all sing along.
We have all been there.
We've felt that pain.
We have laughed in the sunshine.
Cried in the rain.
We've all looked at that window pane.
Pain for a better life.
can we erase this strife?
Can we efface this knife.
We have people cutting,
People getting high.
Instead of helping them we make them cry.
Some just want to die.
Because they've been beet.
We got to lift them up.
Help them to their feet.
We got to make a stand.
For a future of light.
Because all it takes is a smile to make someones day bright,
We got to take what we got left and make it right.
At the end of this tunnel I can see a light.
Lets make a new day out of these dark nights.
