The Death of Me

You're tearing me apart, my weakness yet my necessity.

Oh brother I have watched you grow and cared for you like a mother.

How is it that you take advantage of me?

You take advantage of the fact that I will always take your side, even when you're not right.

I have prayed for you and your bitter soul do not walk away I can not bear to let you go.

Is it really in vain for me to believe that one day my brother will be the one who kept me strong when I was weak?

How dare you take the blood in your veins for granted when your happiness is all I've ever wanted.

I need you to walk out of that darkness consuming you before it starts consuming me.

All I need is for you to believe that love is so much stronger than the hatred that made you be, together we can set you free.

You have become a necessity to me, I am desperate to bring you back to the life you used to live and breathe.

No! you do not need me but I do need you, my brother, dear brother break those chains around your wrists and neck they are suffocating me!

Are you not aware that by you being bound I am bound too?

You're tearing me apart, my weakness, my necessity...the death of me.
