Death Nightmare

I fight day and night, the horror within the dark abyss of my soul, waiting for someone, something to save me from this sin. My mind is in bondage. Thoughts of pour- ing blood from the veins of Death himself takes its toll. His gleaming red eyes make me numb with fear. Shadows he slinks in, waiting to wake me with an incinerating laugh. Dumb- struck, I muster any energy left and run like a brigand inside a bank. Suddenly, I slow down. My heart, a cleft hole, beats fiercely. The ghastly and lank form of Death fades. Into a hazy nothingness I fall, A pair of malevolent eyes was the last thing I saw.
