Death by Similarity

Each fight we have, tears me down,
Of your standard, I've fallen short.
Barely hanging on with pain,
Can't you see that we're the same?

You words are bladed edges, solely meant to gorge me,
You accusations demand: "what ever do I mean?"
My heart bleeding profusely, my mouth sewn shut.
If you really wanted to know: you would shut the fuck up.

Through this uproar, yours is the voice that you can hear,
Here we are: just another argument, another year.
One with friends and one at home, the pain always pair
Each day is fucking drag, how the hell is this all fair?

Each fight we have, tears me down,
Of your standard, I've fallen short.
Barely hanging on with pain,
Can't you see that we're the same?

Enough of this, where is this fight going?
How can you manage to live knowing,
That between us you are widening the gap?
Yet trying to talk to you has mounted to crap.

Every other month, I attempt to mend,
the relationship I can no longer pretend
Not with with this chasm dividing us
When will you two have enough?

Each fight we have, tears me down,
Of your standard, I've fallen short.
Barely hanging on with pain,
Can't you see that we're the same?

Each wound I receive makes me stronger,
Eventually, I'll won't need you longer.
Soon you will remember this day,
when it was my soul you did slay.
When it was my soul you slayed!

Each fight we have, tears me down,
Of your standard, I've fallen short.
Barely hanging on with pain,
Can't you see that we're the same?

Each fight we have, tears me down,
Of your standard, I've fallen short.
Barely hanging on with pain,
Why can't you see we're the same?
