Is Death So Final?

I sometimes sit and wonder

What death would be like.

If you can feel everything, hear everything.

Every smile you’ve ever seen,

Every thought you’ve had,

Everything you’ve ever loved,

Your favorite song from when you were young,

The sound of your favorite persons laughter,

Silence.

I wonder if it's true.

Does your life really flash before your eyes

Like a book?

Do you get to be more alive than ever

Before your last breath?

Is death really so final?
