Death Songs a Song
I know. Death takes part to dance with me to chant a song of sin, forgotten promises, devoured regrets. I only know a few words it says in its song, only words of this world. But a melody always plays with its rhythm. Like a spell on my ears, I always come back. The same dimmed and purple sound, a comforting whisper of a woman's voice, a smile I’ve seen before, just distant, among the swaying leaves above. And then it stops, and reality fills my conscious. And I find myself looking down upon the edge of a bridge rail. And in the calm quiet ocean, there it is, death taking apart to chant a song of sin, wishing for me to join in.
