Death Wish

Standing bolder, I try to be a man. Try to kiss you on the lips To make you understand. That I’m here for the better, And I took that chance. I even put my heart, In the palm of your hands. I gave you every bit of me. Every piece of my soul. I was the toy car, You had the remote control. This was a bad game of poker, But I didn’t fold. I’m tryna score a touchdown, But I can’t reach the goal. You seem to make it harder, I’m trying to make it easy. And I could’ve let you be, But I knew that you would need me. I stood by your side, But you stabbed me in the chest. My lap is colored red, I’m such a bloody mess. And I don’t mind, I’m patient just for you. Getting stronger every day, Just to face the nasty truth. Just to try harder, Just to make it by. You’re the poison to my love. One last kiss before I die?
