Death's Certificate

(poems go here) I sayy R I P to my dearest life As if I’ve been stabbed with a broken knife Nobody knows the pain I feel Cause me, I never kept it real They say you only have one life to live I didn’t try all I did was give and give But now it’s done.. Mines is over Now you’re left here with my leftovers But it’s dark, I’m lonely, I don’t know what to do You think you know me but trust, you didn’t have a clue I'm left surrounded in darkness but I refuse to be swallowed by it My loneliness like the night air invisible to the eye obvious to the touch It is cold comfortableness but bitter inside I took it myself like the death angels awaken I’m still here but everybody knows my soul’s taken I would say to blame But it was mine to claim, how he drug me in the dirt Life was in the wrong lane I couldn’t make a U-turn so I took the illegal exit Life’s all over.. What’s the issue.. I signed my name on the dotted line never to be erased So I’m gone now, but not gone without a trace

I wrote this poem because I have suffered from mild to severe depression as a child.
