Death's Cornerstone

Why can't you look me in the eyes, and tell me you're wrong? And to make sure you realize the mistake you made? But you had to make up a lie, and you will know what it fells like to be alone. I'm tired and sick, but no one's there to make it better. And as the rain falls, makes this life dark and wetter. Why did you have to make this bleak, so much has changed with this week, with you at the wheel, I don’t know what to feel. I could have stopped you, stop this, but I stayed for what? I’m done, I guess this is what it feels like to be on Death’s Cornerstone. So then, I walk home, rain puddle at my fingertips, nothing pressed against my cold and hard lips, where did you go, to leave me so alone? You started it, but couldn’t finish. I was told that after I hit it I should of quit it. But my heart told me to stay, and I did, just to end up with my life thrown away. And I’m tired, and sick, but there is no one to make it better. And watch this rain fall, to make my life dark and wetter. Why did you have to make this bleak, so much has changed with this week, with you at the wheel, I don’t know what to feel. I could have stopped you, stop this, but I stayed for what? I’m done, I guess this is what it feels like to be on Death’s Cornerstone. I’m part of this wall, I can’t move or it’s gonna fall, I’m important to one thing, but it’s not the perfect song to sing, but I want you to know, that I’m important to Death’s Cornerstone. With a gun in one hand, and a noose in the other, and now you’re crying, why do you even bother? You’ve pushed me beyond reprieve, and this pain is too much. Why did you have to make this bleak, so much has changed with this week, with you at the wheel, I don’t know what to feel. I could have stopped you, stop this, but I stayed for what? I’m done, I guess this is what it feels like to be on Death’s Cornerstone.
