Debating the Purpose

Not once but twice our dreams are built by castles.

We have faith in the happily ever after.

Yet what is it all for?

The feeling chokes me as I question perception.

Because words taught us to abide in love.

But what is love?

Beauty, romance, a chance to start anew?

No... no... NO!

A fairytale cannot payoff the cost of reality.

Repaying life for instant contentment,

it has always been twisted.

Escape, they advise. Run away! Find your life!

Then a thought

What if the fairytale is right in front of me?

A dream, an adventure, found in the smallest marrow of life.

And life, oh life!

The moments collected tell stories of Great Danes.

Enduring, persevering,

but almost all searching for the wrong things, they can never find.

Only a few can truly see the beauty and love,

which is occurring every minute of every hour;

meaningful, tough, and true.

Standing firm!

The fairytale it is you and me.

Painting a picture day by day,

challenging the beauty that is seen.

Questioned by the sense of a fairytale,

I'd write a story about reality.
