Deceitful Slumber

My dreams betray me,

they lift me up just for me to wake up and slay me.

Fake emotions false desires,

apparitions of truth that turn out to be liars.

Captivated by a vision but wake up to the same old decision,

there's no going back and undoing what was done,

sin may have been fun,

but there's a time for reality and a part of me has slipped.

I was hand picked and chosen, I threw away my devotion and clung to an idol,

this is viral don't miss the moral, don't think your indestructible

for we're all one spark from combustible .
