These kids need a friend.
They need meds and therapy and meetings and accommodations and IEPS and hospitalization and help.
Really, what they truly need is someone to truly care.
They need love.
I cannot take this.
My heart is breaking.
It is so heavy and full of a love I cannot explain.
I have 15 minutes to hold it together.
Then, I can go home and bawl my eyes out.
I don’t know what to do.
I am so stressed.
I care so much about these kids.
I want them to know that there is someone whose name is Love that can take all their pain away.
He can take it all away.
He can give them a new life.
A clean slate.
No more hate.
No more pain.
No more lies.
No more death.
Only love.
Only truth.
Only peace.
Only mercy and grace.
Only forgiveness.
Only love.
Pure, holy love.
As the keys blur together, I try to keep it together. 10 more minutes.
I can do this.
Jesus wants me to be here.
I am the only taste of love they may ever have.
I don’t know how to show them I love them.
