Decent Decency
Draw me a mountain, the sky and the sea
Draw me a heart that's forgot how to bleed
Show me your pain, what it's like in your mind
Let me see the rain, and what you felt at the time
I want to understand and gently hold your hand
Drown in the clouds and breathe if I can
Draw me the eyes that first told you lies
Draw me the hurt of your last goodbye
Of the trees that lead you home and memories you hold dear
The dark when you're alone, the demons that you fear
Because your cries aren't quite the same as mine
And your highs change depending on the time.
Draw me the broken of what was spoken
Draw me the sun that has yet to be woken.
Give me the reason behind that brown streak in your hair
Your favorite season and why you forgot how to care
The pain in your heart, that won't let you go
You falling apart at what you don't know
Draw me the future, or really anything
As long as it's real, and has decent decency
