Deception
Darkness fills the sky
Looking for a path that looks right
But my eyes and mind are fooled as the night passes by
My eyes closed tight
Stumbling into every tree and soon falling into a ditch
I feel small
Smaller than an ant in a high school hall
My mind is emptier than a tree that looses all it's leaves during the fall
As the sun peeks through the night
My eyes struggle to open for sight
I clilmb and climb with all of my might
From the ditch of lost hope
The light grazes my face
In such a fast pace
I'm lifted
I reach a division in my path
The choice is not as easy as first grade math
But my eyes and mind are no longer decieved
Narrow and long is the course
I take the journey, I dont look back I have no remorse
