2 Corinthians 11:3 New English Translation (NET Bible)

³ But I am afraid that just as the serpent deceived Eve by his treachery,

your minds may be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

Satan did not assail Eve’s heart

but went straight to her mind.

Evil spirits always go there

for it is the weakest point of our being.

Eve’s heart was really sinless

even though there was potential.

There she received suggestive thoughts

and her choice was the deceiving.

Unless a Christian learns how

to repeal evil spirits in his mind

he will be continually tempted

and proportionally be deceived.

In such situations he will loose

the sovereignty of will

until he’ll be robotical

and truth can’t be retrieved.
