Decision

Cast bitter-sweet shadows on the wall,

Or open windows-- sun shining in.

Lie down bare, or choose to stand up tall.

Will your life fall or will it begin?

Short and poignant, very nice :) As I continue to write poetry, I found length no longer matters and sometimes a short excerise has as much strength as a long piece. I have posted one or two "light verses" on my page if you are interested. Continue to write, there are profound moments in your poems. Q.V.
