Decisions

Tonight is a night of decision

Decisions I must make

I have no one to guide me

Which path now shall I take?

I feel lost, confused and helpless,

With nothing left to give

I gave it all away

I have no reason now to live

I am left with nothing

A nothingness so great

I cannot fill the void

I do not know my fate

When this all ends,

I may die tonight

Or maybe it'll get better

Then perhaps I'll stay and fight

I am done playing these games

I do not know whats real

I am consumed in darkness,

A darkness I can feel.

What are these new surroundings?

I don't know what they are

Am I nearing the end

Or going on a journey afar?

The decision time is now.

I must make my choice tonight

Will I lay down my life

Or will I go on to fight?

I've layed myself low too often

It's time for me to break away,

To break the pieces one by one

And leave them where they lay.

I will survive.

I will be strong.

I will not lose again

Or be a victim for so long!

This is my own decision,

This is my path to take

I refuse to be misguided

And I refuse to be a fake!
