Decisions

I never thought that this day would come

Where did the endless moments go

Now I am dwelling for that day to arrive

Before I could not wait to leave the banal walls

I am dreading that day

Even if I feel hopeless

It is all I have ever known

It is in my comfort zone

I do not want to leave the nest

But that day is catching up to me

"Make you decision" it yells

How am I expected to make a decision at only 18 years old

I can only hope that the choice I make will help me grow
