Decisions

The only thing I've ever wanted is something we both know won't happen, you see I've become too much of a spineless coward to take the steps forward, and you've made it clear that you want nothing more to do with me; so instead of taking the smart route, I desperately hold on to the small glimmer of hope that maybe something might magically happen, opting out of something better.

It's childish and most definitely foolish, but I'm not clueless I know what I've signed up for. I've walked this path far too long, to simply call it quits now, so here I'll stay here in my ill mind and face the turmoil head-on.
