Dedication Page

From "Once upon a time" to "they lived happily ever after"

The words bled across the page in a blackened smudge

Because the eyes that held them could not decipher

The stories that the sentences told.

The eyes were not bad nor the head they were in dull

But the words were shouting and buzzing around

Without holding still they created frustration

And tormented those who would try.

The patience and care you paid towards the resistant us

Allowed us to see the wonderful written worlds

By opening up our eyes, our hearts, our minds

To believe in our own power and skill.
