The Deed (Part 1)

The edge is behind you now

What's in front is unclear

Anger, pain, and sadness

It seems you can't hear

Reason to the smallest degree

Your friends start to leave

All you're left with is the previous 3

Emotions that you felt when you first arrived here

But now they've come back with fear

You wonder how you got somewhere

That seemed so far but was really so near

You shed a tear

A new emotion comes into play

It's name is despair

It tells you that you no longer want to be here

You want a permanent change and you want it now

You start thinking of ways to put yourself down

And what the note should say

While you levitate in the bathroom

Or maybe when the last thing you hear is one "boom"

Fear starts to bloom

But you know it will all be over soon

So you make a half hearted attempt

The instant you do your body fills with regret

You're hoping someone comes and saves you from your terrible mistake

You're blacking out it might be too late

But you awake
