In The Deep

There’s an anger in us growing

A clawing aching thought

A permanent amnesia to the

fights that we have fought

Our “final girl syndrome”

Will finally meet its end

I’d claw my own skin off,

If it didn’t hurt to mend

On hands and knees

Please save another day

Oh god of personality

Please show us another way

The communists idealize the

“We” of godly thought

You gave my stomach butterflies

But it's Beelzebub inside tonight

Have you ever tried to breathe,

While the chlorine water takes your life

Stop my sadistic pleasures

Put fork back in hand

Dante’s loose within my lungs

An inferno wreaks across our land

On hands and knees

Please save another day

Oh god of personality

Please show us another way

The communists idealize the

“We” of godly thought

You gave my stomach butterflies

But it's Beelzebub inside tonight

Have you ever tried to breathe,

While the chlorine water takes your life

Our “final girl syndrome”

Will finally meet its end

I’d claw my own skin off,

If it didn't hurt to mend

And every other second

And every other lap

The track star team has run its course

Another moment has come to pass

Our “final girl syndrome”

Will finally meet its end

I’d claw my own skin off,

If it didn't hurt to mend

And every other second

And every other lap

The track star team has run its course

Another moment has come to pass
