Deep blue

Five days and nights I've been stranded at sea With her deep blue eyes the void is staring at me Whispering secrets and pulling me in I feel like I'm sinking That's where we begin When I first started I was stuck without a paddle Half a map to go by one match and no torch, lamp or candle I had to swallow my fear Light my way with my heart, bear my soul like I lost my sandal No more following pre written manuscripts I gotta get up and lead by my own example Cause life is like an ocean we all gotta endure those choppy waves Crustacean from lack of caffination lacking motivation to side step out our caves Distraught from the contamination caused by humans and their evil ways Currently distracted by the shift in tides mind all in a haze But what's continually lost on us is the fact that the only constant is change People often called insane cause their consciousness is raised Thinking their all strange cause they speak of love and warn of hate In fact we still discriminate by class its a trap but all we have left is debate But it's been Five days and nights I've been stranded at sea With her deep blue eyes The void is staring at me Whispering secrets and pulling me in I feel like I'm sinking That's where we begin
