Deep Pockets

Deep Pockets Poem by D'Vante Jerrell Chapman

It's ok baby it'll be fine
You can place your love and trust in the deep pockets of my heart and have faith that I'll protect them
See...your pain I was designed to mend it
All your flaws I truly accept them
You are my cherished gift from God
Ain't no way I'd take advantage
You're a fine jewel, a diamond cut from an angel's halo
Give me your hand so I can lock it in mine
Never cross the line nor take you for granted
I'll be good to you
You are my dream come true
I love you honey
I place the treasures of my love for you in the deep pockets of your deep blue sea
And as I reach in your pockets and you reach in mine
We'll pull out our lifelines
You brought me back to life when I was dying
And I saved you from drowning
Our love knows no hate
Like a first date
I want to get to know you forever and always
Can you count the ways
The different ways I show you love
The love you give me is sent from Heaven above
I love you
You love me
Together we
Have deep pockets of change
When night turns to day
I find my sacred place
In the deep pockets of your heart
