The Deep Sea

The craving of wanting to die but not killing yourself. It comes in waves that drift from days to weeks to sometimes months. It drains all your energy leaving your body numb. The liquor is supposed to drown out your sorrows instead it radiates the painful memories the ones you continuously try to run from but they bury you alive. You don't realize how bad your mental state has gotten util you've officially hit the abyss and isolated yourself from everyone and everything you thought you loved. it's a metal anchor tied to your leg and everyday you drown deeper and deeper, your lungs are collasping as they fill with water and the oxygen diminishes out of your blood stream leaving you like everyone else has, you're losing your conscious on reality waiting for someone to save you, waiting for someone to pull you out of the water, you scream and your words are muted you're left unheard and you're left alone. Lifeless, at the bottom of the Sea.
