Deeper Than You Know

Love is ...

The taste of sweet rain

Streaking my window pane

With its gentle touch

And it's gentle name.

Love is ...

The sound of red sunsets

Luring fragile clouds away

From their happy home in the sky

Leading them astray

To a place unknown.

Love is ...

A soft kiss at daybreak.

The sprout of precious vine

Leaves within a soul

Yearning for the light of affection.

For the nutrition of understanding

And the warmth of happiness.
